Well, right about now, Bob, you'd be chastising me for my lack of computer intelligence because I just "lost" a very lengthy life time memory of our 65+ years as friends/family relationship. It was really very heartfelt, Bob, but I won't redo it. Just a brief thank you, now, for being my "brother" for so many years. I was blessed to have you, and I will miss your presence in my life.
I'll do my best to keep Gin busy, and to be ready to leave "on time" for where ever. Gin will be okay -- your illness has taught me her faith has made her a very strong woman (some of our Dad's strength I think, as well.) She is tired now, but she'll regain her strength over time. Being alone is a big adjustment after so many years with one's spouse, but she can now have cantaloupe in the house! The memorial service was so nice today, and you would have been very proud of your beautiful family. So many, many relatives and friends were there to pay their respects to Gin and the family. Of course, you already know that because you were looking down on the entire day from above. Oh and one more thing: There appeared a new star in the heavens on July 7th; I looked a bit to the North and found you shining brightly. Assurance, Bob, that you Came Good Home. Love you, Ann
