My thoughts of Bill go back to my teenage years when he would take us boys of the old neighborhood camping at Old Orchard Park in Oscoda. And also I recall Bill cooking us steaks on the top of the oil stove in his garage on N.15th street. (on Bill's payday)
And then came the day when I asked Bill to give me a ride over my sister Gail's apartment. I invited him in for coffee and to meet my sister. Almost every day after, Bill would ask if I needed a ride over Gail's. The rest is history.
I have many great memories of Bill. We will all miss him.

I remember my daddy teaching me how to drive. And sitting at the kitchen table while he baked and listened to him talk about the railroad.
