Archie Patrick (Pat) McIntosh

Archie passed away on November 4, 2024.

Born July 16, 1950 in Huron County. Archie was a lifelong resident of Huron and Tuscola Counties. He was a Merchant Marine travelling out of Texas for a time and seeing many different places. He held jobs
in several companies as a welder and production associate. Archie’s last job was as an owner operator in the trucking industry, hauling freight all over the United States and Canada.  This gave him the opportunity to see most of the country and he gained a great perspective on the many things it has to offer.

Archie was a huge gun enthusiast and was a self-taught expert on any kind of gun in existence. He enjoyed buying and selling guns for many years. It was his true passion. He learned to make his own leather holsters and also made his own boots and shoes. He was a very smart man and very wise. His skills and interests would have served him well if he had been born a century ago.

He will be greatly missed by his family. Archie is survived by his sons, Brian McIntosh and Steven (Joy) McIntosh and their children Evan, Copper, and Lily. Sister Mary Denise Gibbs and her children Angie and Melissa, her partner Brian Curl and their children Amanda and Sam. Brother Daniel (Sylvia) McIntosh and children Rachel Apley and Michael McIntosh. Brother Rory (Mary) McIntosh a nephew Tom Lemke. He is also survived by his Uncle Steven (Jean) McCormick and Aunt Doreen Tomlinson. Archie was preceded in death by his parents Archibald Anthony McIntosh and Mary Kathleen (McCormick) McIntosh, and many aunts uncles and cousins.

Burial will be a private ceremony for his family.  A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held for everyone on Saturday, November 23 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Gilligan’s Banquet room in Cass City, Michigan.
