Dear Carolyn and family. Our hearts are sad for all of you. We are so sorry to learn of Dick’s passing. We so appreciated his talents, helping fullness and above all his sense of humor and kindness. May the enduring spirit of Richard's selflessness comfort us in this time of sorrow. The sight of his unique birdhouse, a beacon drawing us all home, will forever hold a cherished spot in our hearts. Remembering the joy he spread at yard sales with his delicious pulled pork and how willingly he lent a hand reminds us of the beautiful soul we have lost. I know the whole community will remember Dick and Carolyn’s pulled pork sandwiches which were the highlight of so many Lake Frances Estates annual yard sales. His yard and beautiful birdhouses always brightened up his corner of the development. Visiting him and Carolyn in Midland was the highlight of my trip to Michigan. Hope he and Paul are playing golf in heaven right now.

Our deepest sympathy to each one of Dick's family. Especially Carolyn. We bowled in Tavares with Dick, we will miss him very much! He always spoke of his family to us, he was proud of each 1 of them. I would joke to Dick when bowling, I would tell him, break open your wallet, Dick your shoes and ball are older than dirt! He would just grin! We will miss him!! Bob will miss you at polka night also. Dick and Carolyn both did a lot for LFE, we lost a good and strong man! Rest In Peace, Dick!
