“And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched... for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.”
You were all I could’ve hoped for in a grandpa. You supported me in whatever direction I decided to go in life. We may have had our ups and downs but I know you were always in my corner rooting for me. You were such a social butterfly and connected with people everywhere you went. I aspire to be like you.
Until we meet again ♥️ “Squirt”

My father was the best a daughter could ever have. I was his mini me for many yrseven up to his passing. I've never cherished a man as much as I have him. We had so many that can't be filled now. I'm standing by everything my dad wanted and no and will tell me different. Even though I was lil girl I did everything like my dad. Absolutely love boxing. Had one of of his Golden's. N gave him 2great great grandkids. Hudson n Brooklyn whom he loved very much. He's touched a lot of people's heart n will memories forever. Im lost with out my dad. He was my go to person in life. But he's where he wanted to be. With a lot of family, friends n people he loved now. His daughter Michele D. Lake. Still carry the Lake name and always will. I love you dad

I know our relationship as father and son wasn’t always perfect. We had our ups and downs like I’m sure most families do. No matter the circumstance we always seemed to come together when one of us needed the other. No words can describe the pride I feel being named after such a great man. I’m thankful for our last day we got to spend together. Always the jokester, you kept me chuckling right til the end. Love you pop.

First met you when you were looking for someone to show your first golden, “Sparky”. I remember showing him at the Fowlerville Fairgrounds. Years later, you introduced me to you son, Richard, at a dog show in Midland. We had lots of fun at the dog shows and at dog class in Owosso. I will never forget the pranks you pulled at dog class that made everyone laugh. Those were good times! Gone, but not forgotten! ❤️ Rachel

This is my father n law and though I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, he was a beautiful soul, that I had talk to on the phone and also got to see his smiling face on FaceTime. He was a beautiful father and hard worker. May you rest in peace dad, knowing you were so loved and cherished by all. I’m hear if you ever want to talk. Tell Bruce, Mom, Tim and I say hello and we send our love!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
