Obituary of Linda Jane Willis

Willis, Linda J. Bay City, Michigan Ms. Willis, age 78, died on Saturday March 20, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region. Linda Jane was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Loyd “Bill” and Mary (Taylor) Irwin. Linda was a nursing supervisor at Bay County Medical Care facility for many years retiring in December of 2002. Linda is survived by her 2 children, Polly Stayner of Hartwell, Georgia and Rod Smith of Ocala, Florida. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Mandi Stayner and finance’ Scott Allgood of Hartwell, Georgia, Julie Stayner of Hartwell, Georgia, Devon Stayner and financee’ Colette Turner of Hartwell, Georgia, Dominic (Allie) Portillo of Ocala, Florida and Gabriel Portillo and fiancee’ Amanda Howsare of Gainesville, Florida; 6 great grandchildren, Blake, Emma, Carter, Layla, Adalynn and Stella; 2 sisters, Ellen Weathers of Bay City, Jill Irwin of Bay City; and twin brother Lynn (Hazel) Irwin of Presque Isle, Michigan; niece, Carla (Travis) Davison of Bay City; and nephew, Scott Irwin of Alpena. She was preceded in death by infant brother Kim Irwin. A life celebration gathering will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the Fraser Road Church of God, 2755 Fraser Road, Kawkawlin, Michigan 48631.
