Anderson, Jeanette Ann (Demsky) Carrollton,Michigan Jeanette passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021. The daughter of the late Arthur Henry and Mary Clarissa (Gale) Demsky was born in Saginaw, on November 14, 1930. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1948. Jeanette married Claude James “Jim” Anderson on September 15, 1951. They were married 69 years. Jeanette is also survived by their three children, Colleen Durocher, Keith (Debbie) Anderson, and Kerri (Daryl) Griggs. She also leaves four grandchildren, Rory Durocher, Alicia Anderson, Amanda (Grant) Ellison, and Jordan Hewitt; two great-grandchildren, Kaida Durocher and Charlotte Ellison; a sister, Kathy Hummon; and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette had been employed as a secretary at Carrollton Public Schools for 27 years. Throughout her life, Jeanette was involved with her church, St. Josaphat’s Catholic Church (St John Paul II). Jeanette enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, fishing, traveling and Detroit Tigers baseball. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sorely missed by her family. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
