F.C. passed away on February 7, 2021 at the age of 68. He was born on September 26, 1952 in Louisville, Mississippi to the late Johnny M. and Colean (Carter) Dawkins. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, restoring classic cars, gardening and fishing.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Joan Zaragoza; sons, Richard Carter, Carlos Zaragoza, and Tomar Simpson; daughter, Angelica Taybron; grandchildren, Alandra Zaragoza, Richard Carter Jr., Sophia Zaragoza, Mi’Linda Taybron, and Royalty West; siblings, Cozy Dawkins, Emma Dawkins, Mildred Dawkins, Jim Dawkins, and Lee Dawkins; nephews - Hozay Dawkins, Michael Dawkins, Reggie Collier, Roy Whitson, and Michael Zaragoza; and a niece, Latoya Dawkins- Crawford. He was predeceased by his daughter, Alicia Zaragoza; and brothers, Johnny Dawkins, and Alfred Dawkins. The family will receive friends at a later date.
