Obituary of Beverly Ann Listeman

Beverly A Listeman of Flushing, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2021 in her home, at the age of 91. She was born in Flint, Michigan on September 24, 1929 to Joseph and Loretta Taljonick. In 2004 Beverly retired from United Way of Genesee County. She was a member of St. Pius X Church in Flint and served on the Alter Society, as a Sacristan and sang with the choir for many years. Beverly also enjoyed her time as a member of Emmanuel Prayer Community where she served as a leader/teacher, and met and held close, many of her dearest friends. Beverly’s life was centered around God and gave a strong witness to the Lord’s strength and love for us. She is survived by her daughters, Lynne Listeman, Judy Listeman, Cindee (Kevin) McColley, and Kelli (Daniel) Kelly; grandchildren, Benny (Ruhsan) Listeman, Amy (Robin) Floyd, Shaun (Joy) McColley, Colin (Tracey) McColley, Shannan McColley Walton, Robert Howlett-Kelly, and Samuel Kelly; many great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Patricia)Taljonick; and many extended family and friends. A Life Celebration Mass will be held at 2:00pm, February 10, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint, MI., with Fr. Anthony J. Strouse officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date.
