Obituary of Donald Ralph Brewer

Donald Ralph Brewer, age 90 of Swartz Creek, passed away on December 30, 2020. Donald was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan on March 10, 1930, the son of Frank and Frances Brewer. He graduated from Byron High School, class of 1949. He served in U.S. Army, 187 Airborne in the Korean War. He Worked at B. & C. in Flint, Mi. for 42 years, retiring in 1992. He married Jean Seeburger on June 18, 1955 in Durand. He is survived by two sons, Brian (Jacqueline) Brewer of Owosso, MI., and Lee (Wendy) Brewer of Ortonville, MI; grandchildren, Joshua Brewer and Ashley Brewer; great-grandchildren, Jack Brewer, Lexi Brewer, Cade Brewer, and Sarah Scott; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jean, on August 28, 2017; his parents; brothers, Leon, Alex, Frank, and George; and sisters, Helen Doster, Edna Wooden, Mary Lasco, Anne Perry. Cremation has taken place. At a future, date yet to be determined, a Memorial Service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly, MI, with full Military Honors, and a celebration of life luncheon immediately following.
