Obituary of Scott Randall Schatzer

Schatzer, Scott Randall Essexville, MI Scott, age 52, on January 6, 2021 peacefully took the hand of Our Lord for his early morning heavenly journey home, after suffering a long, challenging illness. He was born in Bay City Michigan, April 14, 1968 to Ray and Arlene Schatzer. Scott loved his dog “Bear”, his computer work as an IT systems engineer, gaming, friends, and his casino hobby. What will be missed is his great humor, his fun with puns, sarcastic sassiness, his giving heart, his big teddy bear hugs, and so much more. Left to cherish his memories are his parents; two sisters, Rae (Tom) Badour, Andrea (Mark) Johnson; surrogate sister, Cathy (Lon) Pulcifer; his beloved dog “Bear”; step-son, Brinson Doederlein and his mother, Audrey Doederlein; previous mother-in-law, Joann (Vince) Odom and previous father-in-law, Jim Doederlein and partner John Knecht; many aunts & uncles; cousins; nieces & nephews; and dear friends. The family’s heart is full of appreciation for his ICU care and the merciful tenderness he received from his caregivers at Covenant Harrison, Saginaw Michigan.
