Obituary of Mary Lee Flannery

MaryLee Flannery, age 74, of Ubly passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. She was born September 16, 1946 in Deckerville MI, to the late Mark and Nina (Hunter) Howard. She married Eugene “Buckshot” Flannery on August 8, 1970 in Bad Axe. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1998. She worked in Ubly at Lyntex/Gemini Plastics for many years. She enjoyed gardening, Mollie B. polka party, Johnny Prill, her cats, and meeting up with her friends for lunch. MaryLee truly loved and cherished spending time with her kids, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. MaryLee is survived by her children, Brenda (Joe) Osantowski of Ubly, Harold James (Darlene) Groth of Frederic, and Dale (Kelly) of Ubly; five grandchildren, Kayla (Bryan) Nash of Ubly, Sara (Travis) Messing of Minden City, Gary Osantowki of Frederic, Cody (fiancé-Grace) Groth of Ubly, and Katlyn (special-friend Kyle) Groth of Ubly; four great-grandchildren, Bentley Nash, Madison, Taylor and Sophia Messing; sisters, Helene Darlington, Eva Perez, and Nila Soule; sisters-in-law, Hazel Howard and Kathleen Long; and brother-in-law, Larry (Emily) Flannery. MaryLee was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Nina Howard; two brothers, Richard and Gerald; and brothers-in-law, John Darlington, JR Perez, Robert Soule and Ed Flannery.
