Obituary of Susan Jane Colegrove
Susan Jane Colegrove, age 79, of Sterling Michigan, passed away and went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 18, 2020 of pulmonary fibrosis. She was born to Claude and Gertrude Kingsley on July 31, 1941, and grew up in Pontiac Michigan. Sue enjoyed working at Grandview Nursing Home in Grand Rapids and at a group home for boys in Allendale Michigan. Her hobbies included fishing, gardening, bird watching, hiking, caring for her many animals, and being with family. She will be deeply missed.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Douglas; children, (Chris Colegrove-deceased) Deb, Cheri Butts (Greg), Suzette Batenburg (Trace-deceased), Mike Young, Julie Hall (Dale), Joe Colegrove (Melissa); 17 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
