Obituary of Larry J. Sova

Larry J. Sova, age 70, of St. Charles, Michigan passed away peacefully November 19, 2020 at the Saginaw VA Medical Center. Upon graduating from Arthur Hill High School in 1968, Larry along with his lifelong best buddy, Mike Davis, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He fought with pride in Vietnam as a “grunt”. He worked as a machine operator at Eaton Corp, retiring after 35 years of service. Larry enjoyed golf and his fellow golfers, and loved nature and hunting. Surviving is his wife Deanna; two sons, Ryan of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Kam and 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Ian, Ashton, and Kayla, all of St. Charles, Michigan; three loved nephews, the Bussinger brothers, Mark of Denver, CO, Dale of Dallas, TX, and Scott of Crystal River, FL. Larry was number 8 of 9 children and he leaves brothers, Vincent, Edward, and Clarence Sova and sisters, Barbara Macomber, and Mary Oliver. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Cletus and Mary Sova; two brothers, Kenneth and Richard Sova; and a sister, Patricia Bussinger. Cremation has taken place. Larry will be placed at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
