Obituary of Christine "Tina" M. Savoie

Savoie, Christine Marie Sanford, MI Christine, passed away July 11, 2020 at the age of 68. She was born September 27, 1951 to the late Aloysius Royal and Sally Jo Savoie in Munising Michigan. She retired from J & D Plumbing and Heating after 20+ years of service. Tina left behind many strong bonds of love and friendship in her community. Her smile brightened many lives and many people touched and brightened her life. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Royal Savoie; sister, Vicki Lynn Savoie; her sisters in heart, Sue (John) Smith and Shannon (Brownies) Mose; daughter, Danielle M. Savoie; grandchildren, Alexander M R Savoie, Adriana T M Gofton, Martina M Drake Snyder; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Bailey Lynn Savoie; her best friend, Edward Holbrook; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews that she absolutely adored. She was predeceased by her parents Aloysius Royal and Sally Jo (Ferchette) Savoie; her brother, Arthur Savoie; her sister, Karen (Savoie) Jines; and dearest friends, Rita Walker and Dave Hartshorn. A small Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date (August 2020) due to the Covid & Flood disasters. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Sanford Downtown / Park Restoration or to simply reach out to a distant loved one and share a smile and spread some love in honor of Tina.
