Obituary of Richard E. Young

Young Richard E. Freeland Michigan Richard passed away June 24, 2020 at home with family. He was born in Saginaw Michigan May 16, 1928 to the late Clyde E. & Beatrice E. (Trumble) Young. He was a member of the Saginaw Masonic Lodge and served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, and in later life - golf. He owned Young's Gun and Ammo, and retired from Malleable Iron after 40 years of service. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Carl) Turner; grandchildren, Carl (Trudi) Turner, Paul Turner; great-grandchildren, Ariana Turner and Andrew Harper; siblings, Thelmar (Judy) Young of PA, William (Rose) Young of PA, Janet (Bing) Shaw of PA; sister-in-law, Buttons Young of PA; siblings, Jim (Marilyn) Young of Caro MI, and Nody (Barry) Tingley of FL; a son Richard; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucy (Proctor) Young; a brother, Clyde "Doc" Young; a sister, Irene Phillips; a son, James; and grandchildren, Dessa and Michael Turner.
