My Husband, Richard Shaw, and Russell's wife Marjorie were first cousins. Marjorie's Father was Waldon Shaw and he and my husband's Father Walter were twin brothers. We enjoyed the times spent with them while we lived in Florida and had a wonderful family reunion at their place at Mid Forest Lodge. Russell was a very kind and loving family man and we were blessed to know them both. Our condolences and prayers go out to their family.
Mid-Forest Lodge fondly remembers "Doc" Johnson and his many contributions to the club. He served on many committees and also as a devoted President of MFL. He was a complete gentleman who participated socially in our many activities and made MFL a better place to be. We're grateful he made MFL his home away from home. We send our condolences to his family and friends.
