So many wonderful memories thru the years.... where to begin. 60 years of friendship like sisters with our nursing classmates... from dorm life, to gathering with our little ones, sharing homecoming events, traveling and vacations (cruising, Time at your cottage, gatherings in Florida, gatherings at Whittens), and in more recent years more often as we are all retired.
A plus of our friendship is the husbands who have been as much a part of our family as all of us. We love you Dick and want you to know our prayers are with you. You have been a wonderful husband thru the years and a outstanding care giver the past few years. May knowing that so many share your loss give you comfort.
We (the sisters) all wondered how Ann ever woke to care for her babies as she could sleep soundly with 8 others in the car as we travelled from Lansing back to Saginaw St. Lukes for clinical.
I will miss sharing our birthdays a day apart as we have done for so many years. In heaven you will hear me wish you a a HAPPY BIRTHDAY :birthday:.
