Obituary of Stephen Harold Hill

Stephen Harold Hill, age 71, of Davison Michigan, passed away peacefully at home with family and was reunited with his wife on November 13, 2019. He was born to the late Harold and Marie Hill on April 27, 1948 in Detroit Michigan. Stephen married Joyce Banyas on May 2, 1975. He retired in 2009 as the Director of Cemetery operation for St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Davison. He was active in all areas of the church, including Bingo, Fundraisers and serving on various church committees. He was a very committed husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Surviving are 4 children, Elizabeth Hill, Andrew Hill, Rebecca (Jerad) Williams, Emily (Shaun) Smith; 10 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Austin, Grayson, Veronica, Sophia, Dominic, Nathan, Alyssa, Alydia, and Haylee; sisters, Natalie Cyr and Sandy Burch; brother, Richard Hill; and brother-in-law David Banyas. Stephen was predeceased by his wife Joyce Hill. The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Barb at Americans Hospice Care, for the love and attention shown to our father. Cremation has taken place, and respecting his wishes, a combined memorial service for Stephen and Joyce will be held in the spring.
