Obituary of Shelly A. Robinson
Shelly Ann Robinson 4/24/51- 10/19/19

Shelly Ann Robinson was set free of her pain and suffering as the angels came down and swept her up to heaven on Saturday October 19, 2019 ending her long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Shelly was the eldest of six children born to the late Patricia (Lintz) and Albert Illikman on April 24, 1951 in Saginaw Michigan. She married Byron Robinson on August 8, 1969.
Known as the most kind hearted and generous person, she was a hard worker. Always willing to help anyone and never said no. She always put everyone before herself. It was her mission in life to take care of others and she accomplished this many times over.
She enjoyed any kind of crafting, working in her yard on her numerous flower beds and in her beautiful Koi pond. She also loved to shop and work with others. She was employed by Macy's Lakeshore Grill as a cook until the time of their closing in 2016. She was also employed by Olive Garden.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years Byron (Bud) Robinson, daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Jamie Torrez, step-daughter Rachaell Brown and daughter-in-law Cindy Robinson. Grandchildren: Tommy Reppuhn, Albert Kraenzlein, Matthew Torrez, Codi Reppuhn, Byron Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Tyrin Graham, Cheyanne Graham, Nicholas Torrez, Mea Graham, Aashir Brown, Aashalina Brown, and Aashiana Brown. 11 Great grandchildren and 2 grand dogs- Isabelle and Cooper. Sisters- Kathy (Art) Licht, Debbie (Lewie) Fuller, Brother- Randy (Karen) Illikman, sister-in-law Sondra Illikman, sister-in-law Pam (Jim) Loos She was predeceased by her son Timothy Robinson, grandson Joshua Robinson, brother Gary Illikman, Sister Cindy Illikman, brother-in-law William Robinson and sister-in-law Cindy Long. Also her parents Albert and Patricia Illikman and mother and father in law William and Margaret Robinson.
The family would like to thank the staff at Dr. Balcueva's office and the nursing staff at Towne Centre for the kindness and compassion they showed for Shelly. Jody B for allowing Shelly to be her "problem child" and giving her someone to trust. To Dr. Licht and her nurse Sara K for always taking the time to listen, explain and staying on top of her needs. To her niece Tracy for always being there to take her to her chemo appointments and sitting in the ER with her. To Sondra for taking her on as a roomy and craft buddy from time to time when she needed a get away. To Jess for helping with all of the trips to Joann Fabrics and making of her special blankets. Art for putting up with the weekly wood shops and cutting out all of the ideas she came up with. And to her niece crystal for dropping everything to make a nurse visit.
Honoring Shelly's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Monday November 4th. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am with luncheon to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (3680 S Washington, Saginaw MI 48601). Father Gerry Pehler to officiate.
