Obituary of James "Jim" Dean Parker
James "Jim" Dean Parker, age 58 of Bay Port and formerly of Caro, passed away peacefully and surround by loved ones on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.
Jim was born in Flint Michigan on June 13, 1961, to Bob and Delores Parker. On April 1, 1995 Jim married Amy Quinn, and they created a beautiful life together. Jim enjoyed carpentry, fishing, cookouts, spending everyday with his wife, and most importantly- spending time with his grandkids.
Jim is survived by his wife, Amy Parker of Bay Port; 3 daughters, Shannon (Micheal) Black of Marlette, Megan Quinn of Plymouth; Alysyn (Ryan) Stanton of Sebewaing; a son, Jeffery Parker of Bad Axe; all of his loving grandchildren, Baylee, Ryleigh, Amelia, Dayton, Amiee Joh, Aiden, and Owen; several siblings, Lori (Tom) Zawerucha of Caro, Joe (Debbie) Parker of Caro, Mike (Cindy) Parker of Caro, Tina (Gordon) Long of Lupton, Sheryl (Robert) Torres of Caro, Bob Parker Jr. (Bernadette) of Caro; sister-in-law, Victoria Sparkes of Sebewaing; and his father, Bob Parker of Caro. He was predeceased by his mother, Delores Parker; and daughter, Deann Parker Rockafellow.
Jim was a well loved individual and will be greatly missed. A memorial service in honor of Jim is being planned for the summer of 2020 and a benefit dinner is being planned at the Bay Port Inn.
