Obituary of Albert P. Ball
Albert P. Ball
May 9, 1926 – September 14, 2019
Al (Papa) was welcomed into heaven by Gerry, his wife; Alberta and Percy, his parents; Marianne (Jim) Wagner, Eleanor Warzecha (Sim Clark), Loretta Ball, Norma (Donald) Rogers, Earl (Shirley) Ball, Dale Ball, Barbara (Tom) Anderson, Kenneth (Brenda) Ball, Ronald Ball, Gordon Ball and Keith Ball, his brothers and sisters; and other loved ones who pre-deceased him. Al leaves behind him Judy (Harvey, Jr.) LaJiness, Sue (Richard, pre-deceased) Davenport and Karen (Bob) Burns his children; Bethany Burns and Staci (Dan) Cianek, his grandchildren; Alani Burns and Jack and Madelyn Cianek, his great-grandchildren all of whom he adored; Dennis (Diane) Ball, his brother; Francis Ball, Shirley Brewer, Joan Burns, and Mary Zelno his sisters-in-law; and many, many loved nieces, nephews and others. He was a wonderful person…kind and generous, thankful and humble, brave and compassionate. A better husband, dad, brother nor uncle could not be found. 93 years old, Al was stationed in Japan while serving in the Navy during World War II. Al was a member of St. Hyacinth Church for over 70 years. He made this world a better place. Oh, how we all will miss you.
His family thanks the Staff of McLaren Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion. A memorial service will be held for family and close friends on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11:30 in the morning at the Floral Gardens Chapel, 2215 Cass Ave. Road, Bay City, Michigan. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Charity of the Donor's Choice in his honor.
