Obituary of Joshua Allen Lesniak

Lesniak, Joshua Allen Munger, Michigan Joshua was called to his heavenly home, Thursday September 12, 2019 by his Lord and Savior. Josh passed away unexpectedly at the home of his grandma (Fran Lesniak) the evening of September 12, 2019. We will lovingly remember Josh as someone who lit up the room when he entered. A great sence of humor and loved meeting new people. Josh had no problem fitting in wherever he went. An avid fisherman, Josh didn't really care if he caught anything as long as he could wet a line and be by the water it was a great day. He especially loved fishing with his Dad on the AuSable River. Josh looked forward to the times he could go camping with family or friends. Also an accomplished small engine mechanic Josh would spend time out in grandma's garage turning a wrench on whatever projects he happened to have in the garage at the time. Josh was employed at Michigan Sugar-Bay City. He had just applied for and received a promotion to foreman for the upcoming campaign, which he was very proud of. Joshua leaves behind his parents, Lisa(Lesniak) and Greg VanDriessche and his dad Jeff Periard. Also surviving are; 4 brothers and sisters; Kara Jean VanDriessche, Daniel and Angie VanDriessche all of Bay City, Megan VanDriessche of Essexville and Jacob Eigner of Bay City, 2 grandmothers; Fran Lesniak and Loretta Periard both of whom Josh loved very much. Josh had written his mother a letter a while back stating "Thank you Mom and Grandma for constantly being there for me and being so great about it. You are definitely a gift from God. I want everyone to know how much I love you"!. This is the kind of person Joshua was. Josh also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who he loved and cherished. Joshua was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers; Lloyd "Bud" Periard, and Richard Lesniak Sr. and by his grandparents George and Gladys VanDriessche. There are no words possible to explain just how big of hole has been left in so many hearts by Joshua's passing. Young man you will forever be loved, missed and remembered by all those whose lives you touched. Rest in Peace. A life celebration gathering will be planned at a later date.
