Obituary of Robert "ZZ" Roy Averill

Robert Roy Averill Jr., "Z Z", passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 peacefully at his home in Merrill, MI at 58 years of age. Robert was born January 25, 1961 in Saginaw, MI to Patricia McKinstry and Robert Averill Sr.. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved country music, attending concerts, and trips to the casino with his dad. Surviving him are two children, Barbara Jean (Brian) Lambert and Randy Carson; six grandchildren, Cody, Dakota, Kayleigh, Nevaeh, Aubrianna, and Brady (Boomer) Lambert; and five great grandchildren. His parents Robert Averill Sr. And Patricia (Bruce) Denno. One Brother Michael Averill, two sisters Michelle Averill and Beth (Brett) Tuzas. Also surviving him are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Robert Roy Averill lll "little bobby", his nephew David Daniel Averill, his grandparents, Alwilda and Thomas McKinstry, Evelyn and Ernest Averill. Per his wishes, cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will take place Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. At Countryside Trinity Church, 4690 Weiss St. Saginaw MI 48603 for those wishing to pay their respects to the family and even share some memories.
