Obituary of Patti A. Loree

Patti A. Loree passed away July 11, 2019 in St. Louis, MI after a brave battle with cancer. Patti was born July 3, 1957 in Bay City, MI to Richard and Patricia (Donahue) Smith. Over the years Patti was employed by the Bay Area ISD and Bay City Public Schools working with at risk students. She was also the director of the State Theatre and managed its restoration by seeking the donations and federal grants needed. Patti is survived by two sons, Westley (Cassandra) of Bay City and Patrick of Wichita Kansas; grandchildren, Zander, Aaden, Emma, Callie and Nyah; four siblings, Karen (Mohamad) Said of Pearland, TX, Linda (Randy) Weaver, Timothy (Carol) Smith of Bay City and Gregory (Jill) Smith of Whitmore Lake, MI; step-sisters, Michelle (James) Caspers, Melissa Seymour and Molly (Brad) Richards. Following Patti's wishes she has been cremated and no services will be held. Her ashes will be scattered in Ireland at a later date.
