Obituary of Lindsay Morgan Wright

Lindsay Morgan Wright, of Saginaw Township passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the age of 77. He was born June 6, 1941 in Saginaw Michigan to the late Howard and Elizabeth (Feith) Wright. Lindsay had fond memories of going to his aunt's cottage in his younger years, as well as his love for animals, science, sports, and his MSU Spartans. He graduated from Arthur Hill H. S. in 1959 and continued his education at Bay City Junior College, Ferris State College, and received his Master's Degree from Michigan State University. He married Mary Jo Palasty on September 12, 1964 and they shared 55 years of marriage. His career was spent in education at Bridgeport Junior High School and Bay City Public Schools. He was a member of Millwrights Local # 1102, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Bridgeport Golf Club, Maple Hill Golf Club, Sawmill Golf Club, and the American Legion. He felt his greatest accomplishment was his family and getting all of his children through college. Although he enjoyed playing golf and cards, his greatest love was the time he spent with his grandchildren attending school and sporting events. He is survived by his wife Mary Jo; his children Kelly (Mark) Bridge, Lindsay (Carrie) Wright, Lisa (Steve) Klein, and Michelle Wright (Robert Saunders); grandchildren, Ryan West, Caitlin and Nicholas Wright, Elizabeth and Connor Klein, R. James and Emmett Saunders; and brother-in-law, William Palasty. He was predeceased by his brother Jerry Wright and his mother and father–in-law, Ruth and Vincent Palasty. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, May 24, 2019, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway Road, Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Paul Biber will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service at church from 9:30 AM - 11 AM.
