Obituary of Jerry "Peanut" Kenneth Holderbaum
Jerry Kenneth Holderbaum aka Peanut
December 17, 1944 – February 14, 2019
Jerry passed away in his home on February 14, 2019 after his battle with cancer. Jerry was named after his grandfather Kenneth Delton Holderbaum, who at birth gave him the nickname Peanut, which stuck with him throughout his lifetime. Jerry was a Korean War Veteran, Rank SP4 E-4 (P). He was the oldest son of seven children. Jerry retired from the Tool & Die industry, which in his younger years he worked side by side with his father. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball for many years at the old Ford Field in Utica, MI. He liked fishing, playing poker, pulling pranks on his family & friends, loved his dog Rosco and just enjoying life in general. He will be missed dearly.
Jerry was predeceased by his late father, Samuel Holderbaum Sr., late mother Era Holderbaum (Whitfield), late sister Rebecca Rawding and his late brother Mark Holderbaum. Jerry is survived by his children Kelly Wojtanowski, (Tom), Michael Holderbaum, brothers & sister, Terry Holderbaum (Rita), Robin Holderbaum (Doreen), Penny Holderbaum, Samuel Holderbaum Jr. (Barbara). Numerous nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
On Saturday, April 20, 2019, there will be a Celebration of Life from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at:
