Obituary of Ronald R. Clampitt

Ronald R. Clampitt "Steamy" age 78, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2019 with his two daughters by his side. Ron was born April 23, 1940 in Mt. Morris, Michigan to the late Loren "Curly" and Eleanor "Sally" (Watkins) Clampitt. Ron married Sandra Gillman in July 1960. Ron did masonry work until he retired in Posen, Michigan where he and Sandra had a small family farm. Ron enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing pool. Ron is survived by his two daughters, Chris (Jim) Daenzer of Condon, Montana and Melody (Dave) TerBush of Vassar, Michigan; grandchildren, Carl (Jennalea) Daenzer, Cody (Crystal) Daenzer, Justin (Catherine) Clampitt, Myles (Jasmine) Clampitt, Kristi (Adam) Phillips; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; one sister, Lois (Petie) Ford; one brother-in-law, Dale Legue; and many special friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years; his only son "Guy"; his brother "Arnold"; a sister Sally "Sis"; and brother-in-law, Jack Ford. Ron will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
