Obituary of Richard Otto Lentz

Richard Otto Lentz passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the age of 86. He leaves behind his faithful wife of 63 years, Marlene (Warschko); his children, Michael (Heidi) Lentz and Julie (John) Johnson; grandchildren Zachary Lentz, Nicholas Lentz, Kristopher Johnson and Alyse (Lisa) Johnson; as well as his constant companion and loyal dog "Paco". Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country in the Korean War. He was a lifelong employee and retired from Kerkau Manufacturing in Bay City and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bay City. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Otto Lentz and Helen (Clarence) Van Idour and his sister Doris Kerkau. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 7, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1010 33rd Street. Bay City MI. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 11 am.
