Obituary of Marcia A. Ackels

Marcia Ann Ackels Gladwin, MI Marcia Ann Ackels, age 64, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on September 25, 2018, after a long battle with the Parkinson's disease. Marcia was born to Edward and Hazel Paskiewicz on June 07, 1954. Marcia graduated from Rogers High School in Wyoming, MI, in 1972. Marcia is survived by her husband, John, who she married July 03, 1993 and her three children. Son, Joseph (JJ) Losinger and wife Jamie who live in Alma, MI, they have one daughter and two grandchildren; son, Richard (Rick) Losinger and wife Christine who live in Yokosuka, Japan, they have three children; and son, Scott Losinger who lives in Caledonia, MI. Marcia was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She will be forever missed but never forgotten. Every time a butterfly is seen, her family and friends will think of her. Whenever an accordion is heard being played, she will be remembered for her wonderful ability to play music on the accordion. Whenever the smells of a bakery are caught by the noses of her family and friends, she will be remembered for her wonderful cooking abilities. Marcia will further be remembered for the enthusiasm, dedication and atmosphere she created while working at the Gratiot County Commission on Aging and the multitude of lifelong friends she made while working there. Marcia did not want a service and was cremated at her request. A Life Celebration will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 03, 2018, at the American Legion located at 1320 W. Washington Street, Greenville, MI.
