Obituary of Theodore F. Armbruster

Armbruster, Sr., Theodore Bay City, Michigan Mr. Armbruster passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born in Sebewaing, Michigan on September 13, 1927 to the late Ottomar and Viola Armbruster. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Bradenton, Florida for many years. Upon moving back home in 2012, he joined Faith Lutheran Church in Bay City. He enjoyed researching and compiling the Armbruster Family ancestry and history and writing about his findings. He was always an active member of his church and very proud of his many years volunteering with the development of Camp LuWiSoMo, a Christian church camp for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. He was on the Board of Directors for Hope Seeds in Bradenton, Florida and spent many days packing seeds of all types to be shipped around the world along with the message of Christ. He is survived by his wife Dixie, sister Ruth Bolzman, his sons T.F. Jr., David (Toni), daughter Jody Johnson (Greg), as well as many grandchildren, nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe Street, Bay City MI, with Reverend Matthew Hall officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
