Obituary of Ruth Liichow

Liichow, Ruth Sebewaing, Michigan Ruth passed away Friday August 3, 2018 at home under hospice care after a long illness. She was 96 years old. Ruth was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Sebewaing, Michigan and a registered nurse retired from McLaren Hospital in Flint, Michigan. She enjoyed fishing, camping and in her younger days taking the grandchildren camping. Ruth is survived by her children and stepchildren: Louis (Wilma) Martin, Robert (Linda) Martin, Loretta (Rick) Tope, Harold (Sharon) Hempel, Robert Hempel, Mary (Charles) Seagraves, Pam (Jerry) Schulz, Connie(Charlie) Bootz, Cecily Baily, Beth (Don) LLewellyn. She is also survived by sisters Joy VanHall and Irene Davis, multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by husbands Louis Martin, Harold Hempel and Ceo Liichow, her son John (survived by wife Gail) Martin step daughter Sue Smits and sisters Nina,Melba, Inez, Joyce, and brother Adam. Upon her wishes, cremation has taken place and a service is planned for August 25, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing, Michigan. Memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing, Michigan or A&D Hospice.
