Obituary of Gregory Duane Seibt

Gregory Duane Seibt, age 65, passed away July 15, 2018 at his home after a long illness. Greg was born Feburary 12, 1953 in Mt.Pleasant, Michigan to Duane and Rilla Seibt. Greg loved hunting and fishing with his sons, enjoyed camping, playing his guitar, and talking with everyone. Most time you would find him working on one of his projects. Greg is survived by his wife Pattie; sons, Trevis and Brent both of Clare and Jared of Lansing; siblings, Mark (Betty) Seibt, Shannon Seibt, Shelley Ackerman, Lori (David) Elliott; nieces, nephews, and his constant companion his cat. He was predeceased by his father Daune. A Life Celebration and luncheon, led by Ken Longton, will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the United Methodist Church, 105 E. 7th Street, Clare Michigan. Friends may visit with his family prior to the service from 11 AM – 1 PM. Those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Wishes of the Family or Mid Michigan Hospice Home Care. The family would like to honor Greg's wishes and request very causal dress. As per Greg's request "people should wear jeans or shorts and have fun remembering."
