Herb the man. One of the most sweetest guys I have met in my life. Though I only just recently met him, everyday with Herb was a blast. If it was activity time and he wanted and offered beer to everyone or meal times with his lovely daughter Kathy, or his best friend Newt, we all shared laughs. His smile could easily turn your not so great day into a moment of happiness. His smile was infectious. He was always in a good mood. Being one of his caregivers was a blessing for me. Some things I will hold on to forever when I think of Herb is his love for his family, the bond he had with his best friend, his love for Prunes and something as little as how he took his coffee. ("No sugar... and just a little cream" he'd say with a huge smile.) Herb you will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Rest Easy buddy.
