Obituary of Barbara Louise Knowles

Barbara Louise Knowles passed away June 3, 2018. She was born May 20, 1948 to William and Ruby (Jekel) Brennan in Saginaw MI. Barb graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1966. Barb worked for many years as a bartender at the Germania Club in Saginaw. Barb loved to shop for pretty shoes and real leather purses of which she had quite a collection. All that knew her will miss her quick wit and her great sense of humor. Barbara is survived by her husband Joseph Knowles, whom she married on a St Patrick's Day so he'd always remember their anniversary. She is survived by her daughter, Jodi Zayas and granddaughter Brynn; her son Daniel (Kristen) Romo; grandchildren, Noah, Sophia, Uriah and step-granddaughter Farrah-Donna; siblings, Suzanne Halsted, William Brennan, and John (Kim) Brennan; sister-in-law, Judy (Joe) Woracheck; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and special friends who will cherish her memory, Sandi and Sally. She was predeceased by her brother Brian (Mike) Brennan. Per Barb's wishes, no services will be held.
