Obituary of Irving "Monte" Fremont Carroll

Irving Fremont ("Monte") Carroll Irving Fremont "Monte" Carroll, age 81 years, passed away at his home in Rose City, MI. Monte was born in Howell, MI on June 22, 1936 to the late Victor and Helen (Edgeworth) Carroll. Before retirement, he had owned and operated Downriver Safe & Lock in Southgate, MI. Monte was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Ann Carroll. Monte led a full life. With his family and friends he shared many wonderful experiences fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling. He is survived by his children Dr. Sherry (Mark) Reynolds of Marietta GA, Craig Carroll of Morrice MI, David (Elizabeth) Carroll of Perry MI, Patrick (Kim) Abbaticchio of West Branch MI, Thomas (Linda) Abbaticchio of Au Gres MI, Norma (Dirk) Andrews of West Branch MI, and Eugene (Brenda) Abbaticchio of Southgate MI. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A Committal Service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 12 Noon at Brookside Cemetery in West Branch Michigan. Dr. Sherry Reynolds will officiate.
