Obituary of Brian Michael Miessner

Miessner, Brian Michael Saginaw, MI Brian Michael Miessner, age 69, died December 22, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born May 22, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Lyman and Margaret Miessner. He was known as "Mickey" in his early years and as Rev. Bup Ahn to friends in the Korean Buddhist Taego Order. Brian had a wide variety of interests that included his studies in music at the University of Michigan, singing, and playing the violin, flute, handbells and other instruments. He worked for many years as a respiratory therapist at both Saginaw General and Covenant Hospitals. He was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed.
