Joanne passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 in Bay City at the age of 79. Joanne was born on March 19, 1938 to the late Joseph and Anita Dorau. She married Tom Miller on August 24, 1960 in Racine, Wisconsin. Joanne was a member of Corpus Christi (Holy Trinity) Parish. Joanne was an elementary teacher with the Bay City Public Schools for 35 years, a job she loved very much. She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Clark), Kevin, Keith and Kyle. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband. At the request of Joanne, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service has been held. The family of Joanne would like to thank the entire staff at Bay City Close to Home Riegel House. They would also like to thank the Care Team from Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to her in her final days. Joanne will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, grandmother and friend.
