Dear Washburn Family,

Janet was a woman who worked hard, played hard and loved life and her family beyond measure. Her hard work and love of community showed with all the groups and committee's she was on and Corunna became a much better family oriented town because of her vision. She will be missed and my heart goes out to Cindy, Don and Joan. Remember the good times and all the laughs and keep them close in your heart.

I was ahead of Janet in high school, but we sang together in some different ensembles. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She was always civic minded and giving of her time and talents wherever needed. She will be missed. My sympathy to the family.
