Obituary of Ronald E. Woods

Woods, Ronald E. Essexville, MI Ronald, age 81, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at McLaren Hospital. He was born in Bay City Michigan on November 10, 1935 to the late DeVere and Wilma (Wood) Woods. He married the former Shirley Livingston and together they shared 64 years of marriage. He was the manager of retail petroleum for Rupp Oil Co prior to his retirement. Ron will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his gift of friendship that he shared with everyone. Ron's life was full and the best part of his life was the great love he had for his family, including his cat and best pal "Hunter". He is survived by his wife Shirley; children, Cindy (Jim) Carlson, Rhonda (Ed) Bosco, Ronald Woods Jr., Debbie (Mike) Lumry, Rock Woods and Patrick (Silvia) Woods; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and brother DeVere (Ida) Woods. Also surviving are his sisters in law, Mae Coates, Belma (Jim) Van Sumeren, Elaine Livingston; and his brother in law Eddie (Mary) Schultz. A Life Celebration is being planned for a later date.
