Though I have not seen or connected with Pam since most likely high school, I do remember her smile, her laughs, and her sweet personality. I especially recall P.E. class when we played volleyball, field hockey, and "kick" ball. She always gave it her all and was a true team player. It sounds like she had a wonderful life, touched many with her loving care, and left a wonderful legacy with her family and friends. My deepest condolences to all who loved her. Pam and I were friends for 54 years. We lived together for 3 as college roommates and kept in touch throughout the years with occasional visits, cards and letters. I have been reliving, in my mind, some of those great times we had as college kids. One of my most favorite stories is about when we got lost driving in Chicago and ended up in a bad neighborhood. Pam immediately put an empty potato chip bag on her head, so her blonde hair wouldn't attract attention (like a potato chip bag wouldn't). I'm still laughing through my tears, but I thought anyone who knew Pam would appreciate the story. Pam loved her children and grandchildren deeply and always talked about them in her letters. I will miss her. My sympathies go to her family.

I have years of memories of sitting around that kitchen table with all the "usual suspects" eating, laughing, creating art projects. In addition, we were the same age, just a month apart, so we always went out for a celebratory dinner and gift exchange. Our kids and their friends were also often a part of those kitchen parties. I'm sure the neighbors wondered what we were laughing about all the time. Hopefully, Pam has found peace. She is certainly not suffering pain any longer.

One thing we can all say about Pam is she was NEVER boring. Lots of laughs around that kitchen table! Always something in the workings. If I went all the way down memory lane you would be reading a book, maybe TWO on this post! Our kids grew up together and together we enjoyed many (adventurous) trips to Cedar Pointe. We shared many things together and for that I am grateful. Pam loved her children deeply and always supported them in whatever path they elected to follow. She was strong in so many ways, and yet, struggled in others. She stood her ground and stayed true to her convictions, very seldom wavering. Pam was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in Peace, Pam. You are now in the arms of your Guardian Angle. My deepest, deepest sympathy to the entire family. I love all of you. God Bless...
