Obituary of Samuel D. Kruchkow

Kruchow, Samuel Dale Munger, MI Samuel, age 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior July 26, 2017. He was born February 10, 1943 to the late Alex and Ann (Korobko) Kruchkow of Quanicassee. Samuel was a graduate of Akron Fairgrove High School, after which he proudly joined the United States Airforce. He retired from GM/Delphi Local 699. Sam's greatest love was his family, fishing and playing his guitar. Sam is survived by his loving wife Dorene K. Kruchkow, whom he married March 17, 1993; his loving children, Lynn Kruchkow and Jeff Portko, Krisanne (Rob) Andrzejewski, Christina (Daniel) Voss Jennifer (Grant) Howell; grandchildren, Britanee and Samuel, Tyler and Brady, Mark, Alexis, Brayden and Tegan, Dakota, Breanna, Jacob, Grant, Hayden, Faith and Hope Also surviving are his mother- in-law, Velva Rhoten; Sandy Cook and Matthew Armstrong who were near and dear to his heart; sisters, Lois Sattelberg and Pam (Ed) Ekkens; sister-in-law Sally Kruchkow; brothers, Jerry (Noreen) Kruchkow and Mike (Ann) Kruchkow; and many loving nieces and nephews. Sam was preceded in death by his brother Tom, brother-in-law Ray Sattelberg, and his wife Margaret Ann the mother of Lynnette and Krisanne. A Military service will be held August 9, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly MI. A celebration of life for family and friends will follow at Bay Valley Christian Church Bay City, MI on Wednesday August 9, 2017 from 5-9 P.M.
