Obituary of Ruth E. (Schultz) Averill

Ruth Evelyn Schultz Averill Saginaw, Michigan Mrs. Averill, age 82, died on Tuesday June 13, 1934 at Cartwright Hospice Residence, Saginaw. Ruth Evelyn Schultz was born in Clare County, Michigan on October 21, 1934 to the late Karl and Gladys (Churchill) Schultz. Ruth earned bachelor degrees in education, art and music. She enjoyed family and friends, classroom teaching, piano, singing, reading, the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Tuesday Study Group, volunteering and gardening. Ruth was grateful for four loving daughters and eight delightful grandchildren who shared their lives with her: Kaarin Averill (Ed Bretzlaff), Ryan McColl (Ashley), Mark McColl; Kathleen Dwan (Jeffrey Dwan DDS MS), Bradley Dwan MD, Nicholas Dwan DDS, Kristen Dwan; Jennifer VanBebber, Katherine VanBebber, Sara VanBebber, Rebecca VanBebber; Jill Franklin (John). The daughters' father is Walter C. Averill III MD of Homosassa, FL. Also surviving are her sister Rosemary (Bud) Clement, niece Mary Mudd (Randy), nephews; Andrew Mudd, Alex Mudd; John Clement (Candie), Joshua Clement; Jon Schultz of Albuquerque. Preceeding her in death was brother Ronald Carl Schultz and Chris Schultz. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life has been planned by the family.
