Obituary of Ernest R. Hoyt

Hoyt, Ernest Ray Flint, Michigan Mr. Hoyt, age 88 died Sunday May 21st, 2017 at Bay County Medical Facility. Ernest was born in Pearl, Michigan on October 3rd,1928 to the late Lloyd and Madeline (Crofoot) Hoyt. He graduated from Western Michigan University. He is an army veteran and served in the Korean War. He enjoyed playing softball, was a member of Big Brothers of America, and retired from General Motors. Mr. Hoyt is survived by his children; Susan Hoyt, David Hoyt, Scott (Mary) Hoyt, Jeff (Pat) Hoyt and Sally Hoyt, grandchildren; Meegan Popoff, Matthew Wilson, Martha Wilson, Kameron Key, Jason Mossman, Brianne Hoyt and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings; Warren Hoyt and Janet Buss. He was predeceased by Mary Jo, wife of 60 years, and granddaughter Jeni, brother Paul and sisters Eva and Lois. Cremation has taken place.
