Obituary of Clemente Fuentes

Fuentes Jr., Clemente "Clem" Cadillac, Michigan Clemente Fuentes Jr. died peacefully in his home on Sunday April 9, 2017 in Cadillac Michigan. He was 88 years old on February 17. Clem was born in Brownsville, TX and grew up in Harlingen and McAllen, TX. He lived in Saginaw, Traverse City and Cadillac Michigan. He worked at the Saginaw Foundry before it burned down and retired from GM Nodular Plant in 1992. He was the son of the late Clemente V. and Eucharia (Huerrera) Fuentes. Mr. Fuentes is survived by his wife, Ruthann (Smith) Fuentes of Cadillac. Also surviving by all who love him so very much are his 3 children; Clemente "Jerry" (Debbie) Fuentes of Wauseon, OH, Debora McClure of Bay City, MI and Kathryn (Doug) Blanken of Park City, UT, 4 grandchildren; Michelle (Rob) Meyers, Matthew McClure, Justin Fuentes and Jason Fuentes, 4 great grandchildren; Inez, Robert, Dominic, and Mason, brothers and sisters; Abraham (Elizabeth) Fuentes of Pharr, TX, Eli (Sylvia) Fuentes of Butler, Indiana, Rebecca (Benjamin) Esquibel of Defiance, OH and Esther (Pedro) Ramos of Defiance, OH also numerous nieces and nephews survive. He was preceded in death by his brother and 3 sisters; Jose (Sara) Fuentes, Aurora "Chacha" Acevedo, Maria (Jose) Moreno and Sara Salas Smith. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday April 29, 2017 at the First Baptist Church 125 Stimson Street, in Cadillac. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Archbold Cemetery in Archbold, OH .
