Obituary of Betty King Hulett

Betty King Hulett Midland, MI Betty King Hulett, age 95, of Midland, Our dear precious mother and most beloved daughter of Emmit Guy King, and Thelma Michael King Patterson Connelly Richardson left this earthly home January 29, 2017. Betty was born in Sanford, MI in 1921 as the fourth daughter of five. She married Chester S Hulett Jr the 1st day of April, 1945. It was a beautiful Easter Sunday and the beginning of 71 years of marriage. They lived in Hope, MI until retirement, Columbia, SC, Lakeland, FL and before moving back to Michigan two years ago they lived in the mountains of Murphy, NC. Three children were born, Connie (William) Herr, Diana (Robert) Harrell and Clyde (Clare) Hulett. Grandchildren, James (Mary) Elmore, Suzette (Adam) Ahrens, Brookelyn (Wendell) Bradley, Afton Jennings Davis. Five Great-grand children and 1 Great Great grandson. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Chester 2016, her Son and Daughter-in-law Clyde and Clare 2015. Her sister Genevieve Schearer, Dolores Mason Root and Ardieth Patrick. One sister remains, Bonnie Steinke. As she requested, cremation has taken place and will be placed in the New Hope Cemetery, Hope, Michigan this coming summer along with Chester, Clyde and Clare.
