Obituary of Reva Jane Remar

Remar, Reva Jane Unionville, MI Reva Jane Remar, age 98, passed onto our Lord Saturday, January 21, 2017. She was born in Onondaga MI in 1918 to Charles and Ellen Hines. She was raised in Dimondale until she married Robert Remar and moved to Holt MI and later to Mason MI, moving only a few years ago to Unionville MI to live with her son Roger. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and worked as a Data Processor for Oldsmobile in Lansing. She was an avid reader, often reading four books in a week. She was a major fan of both Tom Izzo of the Michigan State basketball team and the Detroit Tigers baseball team. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved the outdoors and going to ball games of any kind. Surviving are her children, Roger (Judy) Remar of Unionville MI and Cheryl Clark of Plant City FL; 4 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, son-in-law, sister, brother –in-law, and granddaughter. A Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 1 PM at the Akron Township Hall, 4280 Bay City Forestville Rd., Unionville MI. Cremation has taken place and burial will take place at a later date in Dimondale Cemetery.
