Obituary of Linda Helene (Carnahan) Ramin

Ramin, Linda Helene Lansing, MI Linda Helene Ramin (Nee Carnahan) age 84 at Hospice House of Mid-MI in Lansing on Monday, January 16, 2017. She was born on May 2, 1932 in Farmington to Malcolm and Pauline (Lass) Carnahan. After graduating from High School she left the family farm in Harrisville and moved to Farmington where she met her husband Donald of 60 years. They lived in Livonia for 25 years where he was a fireman. She became a full-time mother and homemaker. She loved selling Avon. They moved to Five Lakes in Farwell where they lived for 40 years. Linda was an accomplished golfer, quilter, seamstress and knitter. She loved and excelled at all kinds of games. After Donald's death in 2011, she moved to Vista Springs Edgewood Assisted Living in Lansing. She loved meeting new people and was good at remembering names. She leaves behind children Patricia (Jim) Maddix, Michael (Kathryn) Ramin, Cynthia (Michael) Gerstenlauer, Linda (Lou) Belanger, Kathryn (Rick) Zilz, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son Dennis, 1 grandson, 9 brothers and 6 sisters. The memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday Feb 4, 2017 at Reo Town Riverview Church 1115 S. Washington Avenue, Lansing, MI 48910. Memorial donations can be sent to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W. Saginaw St., Lansing MI 48915. She will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly with her husband Donald.
