Obituary of Brenda Lee Hawkins

Hawkins, Brenda Lee Oscoda, MI Brenda Lee Hawkins, age 53, of Oscoda passed away Thursday November 3, 2016. Brenda was born August 16, 1963 in Detroit Michigan to Roger and Hattie (Burton) Adams. Ms. Hawkins enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, shooting pool and was on the pool league for the Eagles in Oscoda Michigan. Brenda retired from the Oscoda area schools. Brenda's family and friends meant everything to her. She was always one that you could count on. She is survived by mother Hattie Burton of Lupton; brother, Roger (Cindy) Adams of West Branch, sister Tina (Mark) Dewey of Flint, and brother Mike and (Kristy) Burton of Lupton. She also is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, 1 niece, 4 nephews, 2 great nephews, 1 great niece, many many friends, and her constant companion and comforter her beloved pitbull "Missy" who was always by her side. Brenda was preceded in death by her grandmother Marie Diemert, her grandpa Albert Diemert, her father Roger Roy Adams and her best friend Linda. In honor of Brenda's wishes she has been cremated. A Memorial Service and luncheon will take place December 3, 2016 at the Eagles Club in Oscoda Michigan from 1-5 PM.
