Obituary of Jacqueline Kay Turner

Turner, Jacqueline Hemlock, Michigan After a long courageous battle with cancer Jacqueline Kay Turner (Kirby), of Hemlock, MI, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. She was 54 years old. Beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Jackie was born to parents Donald and Barbara Kirby on June 28, 1962 in Saginaw, MI. She was the eldest of four children and graduated from Swan Valley High School. Jackie married her high school sweetheart Thomas Turner in 1982, and the couple have three children. She worked as a CENA at Healthsource Saginaw for over 30 years until her illness began in 2010. Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family and would do anything to help someone in need. She loved summers spent gardening, camping, and laying on the beach. Jackie is survived by her daughters, Starr Turner of Hemlock, Sarah (Jeff) Mannoia of Portage, and Melissa Turner of Saginaw, parents Donald and Barbara Kirby of Saginaw, sister MaryAnn (Jeff) Rosser of Hemlock, brothers Don (Kristi) Kirby of Hemlock and Todd (Kris) Kirby of Merrill. Her grandchildren Halie Turner of Saginaw, Hannah and Joey Mannoia of Portage were her heart and she loved them dearly. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a loving, selfless, outgoing person that made other people feel comfortable no matter what. To know her was to absolutely love her. Words can't describe how much she will be missed. Her smile, unconditional love, and relentless strength. Jackie was an angel on earth and now forever in heaven. Always in our hearts. We love you to the moon and back. At her request Jackie will be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church of Saginaw or the American Cancer Society.
